About Us
Growing up in the 90's it was a given that I loved the The Simpsons almost as much as my parents hated me and my brothers watching it. So I spent what can only be described as an ungodly amount of time sneaking around behind their backs to watch it. Whether that was having the fastest tv remote trigger finger in the west, or borrowing a VHS off that one friend who's parents seemed to let them do anything. I HAD to get my fix!
It's a tale as old as time.
So growing up, I naturally made friends with people who grew up in the same boat. People who only quoted the most obscure lines while flat out refusing to watch The Simpsons past about season 12.
Also known as 'legends'.
The trouble with that was when it came time to looking for gifts, it seemed like I was swimming through a sea of cringey, mass-produced t-shirts of Bart's face or Homer eating doughnuts! I mean, surely people don't get around that kind of stuff?
Or maybe people do, I don't know.
Frankly, I don't want to know.
It's a market we could do without.
So I decided to take matters into my own hands and just make my own gifts for my friends. Subtle nods to deep cuts of The Simpsons that hopefully don't make them die a little inside when they're forced to wear them because it's the last t-shirt in their wardrobe before washing day.
PERSONAL NOTE: If you have an unhealed trauma response of reaching for the remote whenever you hear a car pull up to your house, this store is for you.
